I've roleplayed before, but I'm not the greatest. I have a question though;

I need to know what is and isn't allowed in a roleplay. Included would be god-modding for the most part. When a character can or should be introduced in a roleplay, fighting another character and etc. Could someone post some general guidelines that demonstrate what can and can't be done?

I think it's unfair that sometimes on is accused of god-modding when they really aren't.

I think the only "acception" for god-modding would be a final villain who will be defeated. So if you want to take up a god-mod character, you must accept a final defeat and imminent death. No return.

I hate god-modding. So much. It makes me seeth. I hate it when I get god-modded and have to god-mod back. It makes me feel...dirty.

And if someone is plain unbeatable, then yeah, they're god-modding.
